Sausage Rolls

This is an easy sausage roll recipe. You can double, triple the recipe to freeze for later or halve the recipe for just a few. My kids all go nuts for them. Enjoy xx

  • 3 sheets puff pastry
  • 1kg sausage mince
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1/2 grated onion
  • 2 tbsp curry powder 
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs 
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 egg + 1tsp water for the egg wash
    1. Heat oven on 200deg and line trays with baking paper
    2. Layout puff pasty 
    3. Mix all ingredients minus egg wash in a large bowl and mix with hands. 
    4. Cut pasty into half and layout sausage mix in a straight line in the middle of each section.
    5. On a side brush some egg wash and roll up. Once on tray brush more egg wash and add sesame seeds if you’d like. You can also cut into smaller bits if you want or cook in a large log. 
    6. Cook for 25 mins
